Genres/themes for all media:
Boys Love – Features material handling love between male characters.
Dark – Something disturbing and/or bleak. Usually a psychological aspect.
Historical – Titles with a setting further than a few decades back in history.
LGBTQ+ – Takes a stand on the LGBTQ+ issues.
Nature – Handles plant of animal life.
Noir – Includes classic noir, neo-noir and all kinds of vaguely noir things.
Romance – Titles with romantic theme, straight or sometimes between women.
Supernatural – Titles with something unnatural to the original setting.
Teens – Titles that are centered on teenagers and their life.
Notes for Games:
18+ – Titles with adult material, usually sex, sometimes gruesome violence.
Artistic – Title with some serious artistic value (for me), not just beautiful gfx.
Builder – Gameplay consists largely of building stuff.
Casual – Adventures that are considered suitable for ‘casual gamers’.
Episodic – Released as episodes/parts/chapters. (Mutually exclusive with ‘short’.)
Family – The player has to handle family matters in a game, like raising children.
Family – Freeware games, should include a link to DL.
Point&Click – Adventure games with the classical p&c control scheme.
Short – Length of a game, a playthrough takes approximately 3 hours or less.
Bishounen – Features beautiful men on a noteworthy scale.
Kickstarter – Interesting Kickstarter (or other crowdfunding) projects.

My Stuff – Things I’ve made.
Daedalic (Entertainment) – Mostly old school adventures.
Nitro+CHiRAL – BL visual novels.
Telltale (Games) – Story driven adventures/interactive movies.
Wadjet Eye (Games) – Old school retro pixel adventures.
